Masjid Bait us Summud has to be one of the best mosques in the DMV region.
Visited this Masjid for Jumah.. figured I'd come back for Salat since it's the closet musullah near me. Isn't open for Fajr disappointed
I find the location fairly easy to get to from Baltimore city and the neighboring areas. Brotherly love between the attendees is exemplary -- Peace and love emanating from their faces, shows the beauty of the message practiced. I visited this place on new year's eve while the rest of the community was busy having worldly fun, prayers were held here at midnight for global peace and prosperity in the new year. Masjid Bait-us-Samad is open to the Muslims neighbors and the people of other faiths as well.
If you're in the area, drop by Friday prayer services at 1:30 p.m for a rejuvenating sermon on Muslim American issues from the true spirit of jihad to the importance of patriotism. Open to everyone.

Diverse and welcoming congregation that genuinely tries to walk the talk. I've been to a number of mosques in the Baltimore-D.C. area; Bait-us-Samad is new, but is already one of the best, imho. Intimate without being cliqueish, and provides great facilities for women upstairs.
